M.U.N Reflection
How has your perspective changed (on the UN, the world, or the Middle East)based on this project?
-My perspective changed on the UN and the Middle East based on this project because I feel more aware of what’s happening in the world and in the Middle East and how world problems get sorted out and I like it, I feel as if after this project I have found a new passion, current events.
Look at what you needed to improve on from your last reflection and discuss how you improved for this conference?
-I have improved in this conference from the last conference by knowing my facts on the actual issue. I know why there are sanctions on Iran, what they are doing, and who wants them to go away. I know the process in which uranium has to go through to make a bomb, I know who has nuclear bombs, who wants them, and who are expected to be making them. I know my country (Syria) perspective on the Iranian Nuclear Energy Crisis, I am such tight allies with Iran, I’m saying they do not have nuclear weapons. My speech improved a lot, last speech was mainly full of heart and pity to the refugees. This speech was all about heart and mind; I had all the facts in there and still a lot of heart.
If we did yet at third conference, what would you most need to improve on from this conference?
-If we did a third conference I would improve saying more comments. In the night of the conference I had a lot to say but I did not know how to say it. So, I only said the ones that I felt were worded right in my mind.
Give yourself a grade for the following categories and explain why that is the grade you deserve:
For overall diplomacy, professionalism, and engagement in the conference I think I deserve an “A”. I felt like I brought pride to my country, Syria by representing their views correctly and strongly and retaining a positive and professional yet driven attitude with in the conference. At the conference I was dressed professionally, and looked neat and appropriate for the weather and occasion and acted like an young sophisticated adult that I know we all are by staying quiet when it was not my turn to speak, and using appropriate sophisticated language while I commented and in my speech and during caucuses.
For my speech I feel I deserve an “A”. I felt my speech brought new ideas to the table. I was the first one to bring up how using nuclear energy would contribute to the stop of global warming harming our planet and the humans and animals living on it. I had quotes of the people living in Iran and how the sanctions are affecting their economy drastically and depriving people of things they need to live, like medicine. My speech was very pro-Iran and I worked it from the perspective of the people living in Iran and how they don’t believe there are Nuclear weapons currently in hiding or being produced, and how the electricity and sanctions and hurting the people living in Iran. I felt I was the person who reminded others that the people of Iran are in need of a lot and are not just an ego to Iran’s leaders.
For my actions during caucusing I feel I deserve an “A”. I was persuaded to vote for a different resolution after a lot of persuading. The resolution I ended up voting for was still very pro-Iran but had some different ideas in it, like potentially moving the plant to a different country. During caucusing I felt like I was saying a speech again with little points favored to the countries listening to me. I felt I was the one who told everyone that Iran has agreed to send their power plant to a different country, and I feel that point really changed the perspective of countries because it made Iran seem way more workable and corporative and made many countries more open minded to the resolution I was fighting for.
My comments in the conference I believe deserve a “B”. After a person gave their speech I would have many ideas in my mind but I felt I couldn’t voice them in the right words. And, the conference was moving very fast and I did not have time to gather my thoughts before the chairs called the next speaker up to the podium. But, after our little cookie break I found the notes I had been taking make great comments! So after our cookie break I felt I did way better and am very proud of that small realization that my little notes make great comments.

My Speech!
I would like to call the delegates attention to docket 2C. PAUSE.
In current times, life is all about whom to be, when in reality life should be about what to do.
~ Margret Thature
I Syria, have supported Iran in its all of its afars, and supports it with this afar as well, I Syria, am in full favor of Iran being granted the right to keep their nuclear power plant for peaceful uses and fully support the lifting of sanctions.
In the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty clearly states that any country has the unalienable right to create peaceful nuclear energy. In past inspections the IAEA has not find any evidence that Iran is producing nuclear weapons, in other words they are producing peaceful nuclear energy to support the booming population that has been going up 20% witch each year. Hospitals, schools and offices have been suffering from intense power outage some lasting for hours some lasting for days. PAUSE.
“My son died at 19 because the power went out when he was on life support, a bitter seed was planted inside of me, if you can’t trust the place that is meant to save your life, what can you trust?” said mother Astar Ali Farnez, the woman was found protesting outfitted in a t-shirt and jeans that came below the knee, an rebellious outfit.
Astar is not the only one suffering from the Iranian Nuclear Weapons crises, hundreds of children do not go to school in fear on the dark. Office workers are un able to work in the dark and forced to work outside by candle or battery light, something that Iranians don’t have a lot of. But the power is not the only issue pressed upon the Iranians; sanctions have been taking a huge tool on the economy.
Hundreds of people have found themselves out of work, pressed to the streets to make a living for their family. Schools are being forced to shut down due to the cutting of grants and lack of new supplies needed to keep up with the current education standers. People are dying in hospitals due to the lack of medicine and doctors needed to heal the ill and wounded.
“People are dying, people are out of work, people are scared to send there children to school! This is mad times were living in, every government is made to govern and help the people, how come we are paying for something we don’t even know about. All we know is the suffering we are being forced to endure is due to the dwindling foreign involvement with oil.” Said a man also found protesting.
Docket 2C is the best plan possible in order to do things that need to be done and achieve our ultimate gole, SHORT PAUSE peace.PAUSE.
If we were to fallow docket 2C the economy in the U.S, China, U.K, and many other countries would improve rapidly because the price of oil and gas.
Using nuclear energy instead of gas and oil energy would help global warming come to a stop due to the decrees of fossil fuels entering our atmosphere and it would save the life's of the arctic fox, polar bear, the emperor penguin, flamingos, turtles and other helpless, dying, species of animals.
If we fallow docket 2C hospitals will be able to buy medicine for there patents and be carefree of power outages so people can live fruitful healthy lives.
If we fallow docket 2C parents can send there children to school to get a good education so they may lead happy, sophisticated lives.
If we fallow docket 2C the pressers of job cuts, money shortages, and a bad economy will be lifted from Iranian citizens shoulders.
Docket 2C will make life improve for the people, because thats what governments are for.
Help us make human kind not just an ego to the government governing your country.
Help us save the life's of helpless animas who's voices need to be herd,
help us educate the future generation of Irans leaders,
help us save the lifes of people in the hands of hospitals and clinics,
Help us help you make a better living for your family.
Help us change the world for the better.
Help us do things PAUSE. for peace.
And vote for docket 2C
Thank you.
