Israeli-Palestinian Conflict
1. The thing I am most proud of in this M.U.N is being aware of whats going on around the world, not many 15 year old kids can have a detailed intense debate about world news and current events, I am proud to say I have
2. The thing I most connected with in this M.U.N was hearing the stories of some of the kids my age being decremented against, not even having a real home, and surviving in intense poverty and that are in host country's surrounding Israel that I learned about on my own time.
3. The most important thing I learned during this M.U.N is about the United Nations, before the project I had no idea we had this sort of thing working out our world problems, it really made me step back and think that all the worlds problems are not that far from home after all.
4. If I was observing my performance in this M.U.N I would think I was doing a good job, I was very into the debates, had strong opinions, but still had a open mind. But near the middle of the meeting I got kinda space-y and not paying attenuation. But I did a good job of getting myself back on track after a short break.
5. I would like to say more comments in the next M.U.N meeting and make my speech more powerful.
6. I did not have a resolution in the docket packet.
7. One of my resolutions passed, I said we needed to add peacekeepers from North Korea.
8. I said 2 speeches(one better then other), and I commented on almost every speech, so my estimate for the number of comments would be high.

Notes on the Issue!
1. BBC News, Syria Unrest, Refugees Flee Camp .
- Some 30 people have reportedly died in Latakia in a three-day military attack. Syria says it is tackling gangs. When really the escapees are escaping the violence at the camps with help from terrorist gangs.
- Because they were trying to escape from the camps witch is illegal with help from illegal terrorist gangs they would be sentenced to death anyways, we killed them.
1. Google News, Syria Rejects Arab League Peace Plan.
-A new peace proposal from the Arab people that calls for Syria’s president to hand over power to his deputy, the government rejected the plan on Monday, calling it a blatant infringement on Syrian sovereignty and evidence of a “conspiratorial scheme.”
- The Arab people would like the president to step down because it would be in favor of there government.
3.Living conditions for refugees in Syria, CNN news,
-Syria has served as a host country to Palestinians fleeing Apartheid Israel’s policies of expulsion, extermination, murder and occupation of Palestinian land since1948. Syria is a very violent country to the refugees
- The Palestinians have been in Syria for far too long, using our resources and taking up land.
4. Syria's President Assad grants amnesty for crimes committed during unrest, U.N NEWS.
- Syria's state news agency says President Bashar Assad has granted a general amnesty for crimes committed during the unrest of the past 10 months.
-The Syrian government wants the Palestinians out, if (and they did) the Palestinians committed a crime within the last 10 months that is severe enough to go to prison, they would end up staying in Syria.
5. Syrian Protests, The New Your Times.
- The wave of Arab unrest that started with the Tunisian revolution reached Syria in mid-March 2011, when residents of a small southern city took to the streets to protest the torture of students who had put up anti-government graffiti. And, the people of Syria are all being accused in being in these uprisings. If a person needs medical help because of some type of wound they are arrested because they are arrested and accused of getting hurt in protest.
- Syria really does not want these uprising to accrue in fear of having the same fate as Egypt resulting in violence.
